Why limited numbers? In an effort to maximize the number of girls that can participate in this event, we request that you bring the minimum number of adults necessary to supervise your group. Recommended numbers: Girl Scout Juniors (age 10-13) 12 girls and 3 adults; Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors (age 14-16) 12 girls and 2 adults.

New England experience: New England is a beautiful and distinctly American region rich in history, culture and natural beauty. The region has four unique seasons: summer, fall, winter and spring. In the New England countryside you can explore white sand beaches and lighthouses, hike or drive through mountains of brilliant fall foliage, and swim or boat in the lakes. New England is known for its delicious seafood chowder, lobster, baked beans and blueberry pie. It is a place where Colonial history comes alive and traditional pursuits like dairy farming, apple picking and maple syrup production can still be found. But there are also a wide variety of arts and entertainment activities to choose from – you can find something for everyone in New England!

Transportation: More information to come.

Where will we be sleeping: There will be several options. Placement will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis. Camp Farnsworth has platform tents and 3-sided Adirondacks with bunk beds. Tent camping will also be an option.

What is the camp like? Farnsworth is our largest summer resident camp, accommodating up to 325 people. The 300-acre facility features large playing fields, a forest setting and private 50-acre lake which can be used for swimming, canoeing, kayaking and ice skating. All units have unit shelters, outdoor fire circles, picnic tables, drinking water and toilets. Toilets may be flush, composting or latrine. There is a central shower house.
