Camp Anne Jackson
Wilton, NH

Camp Anne Jackson is situated on 79 acres of forest and fields. There are large playing fields and a small pond for nature study, swimming and boating (with a certified lifeguard). This camp hosts a four-week day camp and many Council program events.

Facilities

Winterized Lodge
Sleeping capacity - 16 people total. There is an upstairs sleeping loft with mattresses on a carpeted floor. The downstairs has a large kitchen with sink, stove and refrigerator and meeting area. During the winter it is heated with a propane heater. An indoor bathroom offers flush toilets and running water.

Camping Area
There are nine screened Adirondack shelters. Each shelter is a self-contained unit with campfire circle and picnic tables. Shelters can accommodate 10-12 Brownies or 5-10 older girls. There are three CTS (composting toilet system) buildings. Drinking water is available May 1 - October 31.

Pavilion
There is a pavilion with picnic tables, electricity, and fireplace located in the lower camp by the pond. It may be rented separately.

Program Possibilities

Snowshoes, field games, sports area, environmental activities, pond exploration, field studies, wildlife studies, hiking trails, swimming, boating.

Available at the site is a canned program kit - “Trekkin' - A Canned Winter Discovery” that provides leaders with basic tips on the outdoors, fun games, and other educational activities.  Borrow the canned program for day or overnight use, with or without snowshoes.  There is no fee for the kit, but you will need to make arrangements for use through the Camp Caretaker.
