Taking Leadership to the Outdoors
Camping is a great way for girls to explore leadership, build skills, and develop a deep appreciation for nature. Whether they go for a day, week, or longer, Girl Scout camp gives girls an opportunity to grow, explore, and have fun under the guidance of caring, trained adults. For many girls, camp is the first opportunity they have to experience archery, horseback riding, and science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) programming. Every girl deserves a chance to camp!

Parent Letters and Resident Camper Information Forms are now available on each camp page under the "Links" section.
Financial aid is available for all girls living within our Council jurisdiction. Campership/financial aid decisions are made monthly. The next meeting will be on April 18th. In order to have your application reviewed for this meeting, it must be received in the Bedford Office by April 11th otherwise it will held and be reviewed the following month.
Our summer staff are recruited from around the world. They are college students, mothers, teachers and others who enjoy working with children. They all complete an application, references, an interview and background check. All staff complete a 10-day pre-camp training orientation before campers arrive. There are 2 counselors for every 12 girls at day camp and 2 counselors for every 10 girls at resident camp.
