Up for a challenge? Shoot a bull's eye, explore trails, conquer challenges and take on all camp offers, including fire building, outdoor cooking, knives and knots! Swimming, boating, singing, arts and crafts and more! One overnight option for girls currently in 3rd grade and up.

Just Wanna Be a Camper

Don't want to be a counselor, but still want to spend your days at camp? Join us for Survivor Adventure, older-girl style.

Take action and share your camp experience with younger campers.  As a unit, learn camping skills, the basics of child development and spend time observing and assisting in younger units.

Day Camp

Leadership Training Weekend

May 14 - 15 at Camp Farnsworth, Thetford, VT

Amaze young campers with awe-inspiring activities, great games, righteous role-modeling and silly songs.  If you enjoy working with younger girls and believe you’re a great role model, then check out this challenging leadership program!  While at camp you’ll be paired with an experienced counselor as you share your talents and perfect your skills.  First, you’ll attend this required training weekend which day camp directors use as part of their selection process to ensure that you are ready for the responsibilities of camp.  Once we receive your camp registration form, you will receive an application packet which must be completed prior to training in May.

A Typical Day at Camp Green Mountain

9:30 Arrive at camp by bus or are dropped off.
We begin each day with an opening flag ceremony where each unit gets to take a turn raising our flag. We also use this time for daily announcements.

9:45 Activities with unit

12:00 Lunch

12:30 Activities with unit


3:30 Closing flag ceremony

4:00 Campers head home; either on the bus or picked up by parents.

What are some of these cool activities that a unit can do?
Popular activities might include swimming, going to the program center for crafts, or participating in an All Camp activity. As a unit, your camper will work with her counselors and fellow campers to plan out their week around the theme of their program. They might put on a play, cook over a fire, or go on a hike. There are lots of ways to have fun at Camp Green Mountain!
