Camp Director:

Sandy McCarthy is returning to Camp Kettleford for her 26th summer. She was a troop leader when her, now adult daughter was in Elementary School. Sandy has a Master’s degree in Education and has taught special education and 5th grade in Pelham, NH for the past 39 years.
Sandy’s favorite things about Camp Kettleford are the campers, the dedicated staff, theme days, family nights, and the endless opportunities to combine learning, creativity and outrageous fun!

When not at camp or in the classroom, Sandy loves to be outside, to spend time with her husband, children and her  enthusiastic Gordon Setter, Hunter.
Sandy feels that “camp and the learning that takes place within that community are unique and irreplaceable experiences. Camp offers girls the opportunities help plan programs, learn new skills and develop a lifelong appreciation of the out-of-doors“. To leave a message for Sandy call 603.627.4158 ext.178 amp Directors check this voicemail box twice a week during non-camp season. Camp Kettleford is 30 forested acres nestled by the shore of Sebbins Pond. Campers will be able to participate in general program activities such as swimming, boating, arts, drama, games and outdoor cooking. Those that participate in a themed unit may develop their skills a bit more in jewelry making, practicing theatrics, cooking a gourmet meal and more. Emphasis is placed on the value of gaining independence, making friends, creativity and being a part of something great!
