Cookie Sale Program — Cookie Cupboard
What is a Cookie Cupboard?
Cookie Cupboards are "warehouses" of cookies in convenient locations throughout the Council, where Troop Leaders and Cookie Managers can pick up extra cases of cookies for additional orders and booth sales.
Cookie Cupboard Rules
- Please respect the hours of the Cupboard Managers.
(These volunteers are generous enough to open up their homes
for you! )
- All pick-ups and returns are by appointment only. BE
SURE TO CALL AHEAD!
- Do not call before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m.
- Contact your local Cookie Cupboard Manager a week in advance of your booth sale, to let them know that you will need cookies. In that way, you can guarantee the cupboard will have the quantities and varieties that you need.
- ONLY Leaders and Cookie Managers may sign out cookies from
a cupboard.
- Cookies are available in whole and mixed whole cases.
- You will receive a dated receipt for every transaction you make at a Cookie Cupboard.
- Retain this receipt for
one year.
- Having all Cookie Cupboard receipts handy will make reconciling easier should a discrepancy in your cookie billing occur.
- Only full cases of 12 pacakges may be returned within 3 business days.
- You MAY NOT return cookies that were a part of your Initial Order.
- Cases MUST be returned to the same Cupboard from which the cookies were signed out.
- Only the same varieties you picked up may be returned.
- Returned cases may be mixed varieties.
- Bring your dated receipt with you when you return cookies to show that you have taken them out of that particular Cookie Cupboard.
- You will receive a “Return” receipt.
- The Cupboard Manager will enter all your Cookie Cupboard transactions in eBudde for you.
- No money is exchanged at a Cookie Cupboard.
- The Cookie Cupboard Manager cannot accept payment for the cookies you are signing out.
- Send payment or copy of validated Direct Deposit slips directly
to the Bedford Service Center if it is after March 16, 2010.
- If an issue arises at a Cookie Cupboard, contact your Service Unit Cookie Manager immediately.
Please refer to the list below and contact the Cupboard
Manager to make arrangements for pick up. All cupboards require
an appointment and at least 1 days notice.
