Fall Product Sale Program — For Troops

ARE YOU READY TO INVEST IN TODAY?

Fall Product Sale 2011-12 is here!  The theme this year is Investing in Today= Success for Tomorrow.  If your troop participated in Spring Early Re-Registration, you only need to register any new girls, and your troop is ready to enjoy all the fun and troop proceeds.

You Are Investing in Today…by learning all about the 2011-12 Fall Product Sale and your job as the Troop Fall Product Sale Coordinator.  You do this by attending your Community’s training sessions for Troop FPS Coordinators.   If you were not able to attend this training session, please contact your Community FPS Coordinator for assistance.

=Success for Tomorrow...By conducting trainings for your girls AND their parents before the start of the FPS sale.

Together to the Top…By being a mentor to your girls throughout the sale, and distributing FPS girl incentives to the girls when they arrive, you will ensure a successful and FUN Fall Product Sale for everyone.

Nuts and Candy

Girls will receive a FPS Order Card showing all the Nut & Candy items for sale, and the cost for each. Each item purchased counts as one item toward girl incentives, and adds to the troop’s proceeds. NO MONEY IS COLLECTED when the order is taken – MONEY IS COLLECTED when the girls deliver the items to their customers.

Magazines

QSP Address Booklets
Each girl receives ONE Address Booklet in her Fall Product Sale materials envelope. She completes that booklet (at least 7 pages completed), and returns it to her troop leader or troop Fall Product Sale Manager. More.

Buy Now / Pay Later Catalog Magazine Sale
Girls visit family and friends, and show them the QSP Girl Scout Magazine/Book Catalog.

Customers order from the girl and complete a paper order form.

NO MONEY IS COLLECTED.

The troop keeps the yellow copies of all order forms to use as a back-up if questions arise later. The troop forwards all white order form copies to the Community FPS Coordinator. More.

Online Magazine Sales This is the newest, most exciting and easiest way to participate in the magazine/book portion of the Fall Product Sale. Each girl and her parent log onto a special, protected QSP website and participate in a program about internet safety. Then the girl enters 12 or more personalized e-mails to family and friends, inviting them to support her troop by purchasing magazines, or by renewing magazines they already receive. More.

Delivery of Incentives and Awarding to Girls

• All incentives are earned individually, by each girl.
• Sisters must each sell the required number of items for each incentive.
• Girl incentives are shipped directly to your Service Unit at the end of the sale.
• The Incentives should be picked up and distributed to the girls as soon as possible.
• DO NOT hold incentives. The girls should receive them immediately.
