Fall Product Sale Program — Magazines

This is the newest, most exciting, and easiest way to participate in the magazine portion of the FPS. Each girl and her parent log into a protected QSP website and participate in a fun program about internet safety. Then the girl enters 12 or more personalized e-mails to family and friends, inviting them to support her troop by purchasing magazines, or by renewing magazines they already receive. Each girl who enters 12 or more of these e-mails will receive an Online Patch. If any of the e-mails result in a magazine sale, it will count toward girl incentives, and add to the troop’s proceeds. If no sales result, the girl will still receive her patch. NO MONEY IS COLLECTED. If an order results, it goes directly to QSP, not back to the girl. This is the fastest way to order magazines. Unlike the Pay Later paper order forms, there is no waiting time for mailing the forms to QSP, for QSP mailing out an invoice to customers, and for the customer mailing a payment back to QSP. It is all done online and the turnaround time is 4-6 weeks or less. 

QSP Address Booklets

Each girl receives ONE Address Booklet in her Fall Product Sale materials envelope. She completes that booklet (at least 7 pages completed), and returns it to her troop leader or troop Fall Product Sale Manager.

Each girl may only complete ONE Address Booklet, which will count as one item sold toward girl incentives – the Create Opportunity Patch, and $2.00 in troop proceeds.

NO MONEY IS COLLECTED at all. The girls fill in name and address information on each page, and QSP will send each addressee a catalog and order form, along with the girl’s page from her Address Booklet with her personal note to the customer. If the customer places an order, QSP will invoice them directly. Each customer will receive the original mailing from QSP and then one follow-up mailing. At that point there will be no additional solicitations. QSP does not release names of these customers to anyone at all. At the end of the sale, the current database of Girl Scout customer names is destroyed by QSP.

Buy Now / Pay Later Catalog Magazine Sale

Girls visit family and friends, and show them the QSP Girl Scout Magazine Catalog.  Customers order from the girl and complete a paper order form. NO MONEY IS COLLECTED. 

A few weeks after the order forms are received by QSP, the customer will be invoiced directly.  The customer sends their payment to QSP, and 10-12 weeks after payment is received the subscriptions will begin.

Each subscription ordered counts as one item toward girl incentives, and adds to the troop’s proceeds. 

Placing An Order

  • Fill in the 3-part order form completely using blue or black ink.
  • Write the code number, title, and price of the magazine/book selection as printed in the QSP catalog.
  • Up to seven (7) selections (delivered to the same address) may be ordered on one form.
  • NO MONEY IS COLLECTED. QSP will invoice each customer directly.

The order form contains three copies:

  • Pink Copy - Customers keep this copy – it has the Customer Service information on the back.
  • Yellow Copy – Troop or Service Unit will keep this copy to use as a back-up if questions arise later.
  • White Copy – The troop forwards this copy to the Service Unit, who will FEDEX it to QSP.
