The Virtual Pathway is an online Girl Scout community that provides girls the opportunity to participate in Girl Scouting no matter where they live!

Mobile Tech Scavenger Hunt

Use mobile technology as you complete a scavenger hunt around Portsmouth or Manchester, NH, or Burlington,
VT. Girls will be broken up into teams of 4 and will include one adult volunteer with a smartphone. Girls will conduct Journey activities and SMS/MMS responses back to “Game Control” who verify the completion of their activity and forward the next clue to decipher. Team progress will be tracked live. A variety of QR codes, text messages, photos and riddles will be used throughout the hunt. Popular tourist locations will be selected as locations of activities/ clues.

Virtual Troops

Girls will be divided into program level groups and will have monthly meetings through a virtual format using Adobe Connect Pro. Weekly activities will be posted on troop websites and girls will have the ability to log in at their leisure to complete the activities. At the culmination of the membership year, girls will have completed one of the journeys. Each age level has its own virtual troop!

Virtual Book Clubs

Take part in our virtual book clubs! Read great books while completing a journey of the troop's choice. Activities and discussions will take place approximately every 2 weeks on our bookclub websites. Girls can log on at their leisure and respond! One book will be completed every 6-8 weeks.
