A Year in the Life of Green and White Mountains Girl Scouts - 2010

Girl Scouting happens all year round! Many service units establish a calendar for the year. This allows troops to plan ahead to support their goals and plans. Use the following calendar as a guide when working with your troop or service team to develop goals and evaluate progress throughout the year. It is our hope to give you information about each of the special events that happen during the Girl Scout year.

Martin Luther King Day - service centers closed on Monday of observance
Summer Camp brochures mailed to all registered girls

Feb. 13 - opening day of summer camp placement

May 1 - Sister to Sister Event at Camp Farnsworth to kickoff the Forever Green council-wide initiative
May 9 - Mother's Day
May 15 - opening day of placement for troop camp reservation Sept - Dec.
May 15 - Bedford store open on Saturday, 9:30 am - 1:30 pm
May 28 & 31 - Memorial Day - all service centers closed

June

June 5 - Bedford store open on Saturday, 9:30 am - 1:30 pm
June 14 - Flag Day
June 20 - Father's Day
Spring Re-Registration ongoing
