Programs & EventsThe Girl Scout Leadership Experience engages girls in discovering self, connecting with others, and taking action to make the world a better place. All Girl Scout experiences are intentionally designed to tie to one or more of the 15 national leadership outcomes (PDF), or benefits, categorized under three keys to leadership. The Program Guide is the ultimate guide to cool events sponsored by Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains. One Program Guide is mailed to each troop leader (01) , all Service Unit Managers and Adult Learning Facilitators. It is mailed twice a year - in September and February. Out and About This page has information about events and activities presented by Girl Scouts of the USA, other Girl Scout councils and outside organizations. Recent additions:
Summer Camp opportunities are available for girls in grades K-10 at Day Camp and grades K-11 at Resident Camp. The Summer Camp brochure is mailed in late January to all registered girls and those who attended camp the previous summer.
This fun Camp and Cookie Rally has something for everyone – there is a high energy pre-game program just for Girl Scout families that will include contests, camp songs, prize giveaways and more! Between the show and the game you can meet Bump, the Frost Heaves’ Mascot, spin our prize wheel and get a preview of summer camp programs for 2010. Then join fans as the Vermont Frost Heaves hit the court against Halifax. Girl Scouts will show their pride through the game with special opportunities for troops to be on the court and up close and personal with the team. Also girls will receive a special Frost Heaves Scout Night patch. More information. Download a flyer and registration form.
