Delegate Information

What is a Girl Scout Council Delegate?
A registered Girl Scout 14 years of age or over, elected as a voting member of a local Girl Scout Council, can be elected as a Delegate. A specific geographic area (or other unit established by the Council Board of Directors) elects the delegate to represent it at the Council's Annual Meeting. Delegates serve for a set term, which is defined in the Council's Bylaws. The number of delegates a geographic area can elect is based on a formula set by the Board.
