Be a Volunteer!
Life is a great adventure but one that children shouldn't have
to tackle alone . . .
Children need caring adults who can help them navigate pitfalls
and challenges. Someone to cheer, to care, to laugh with. Someone
to help slow down a too-fast world that doesn't leave kids with
time for childhood. Girl Scouts know this.
Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains needs volunteers to help keep
Girl Scouting vital and open to all who seek the movement's opportunities.
For some adults, this may mean direct involvement with girls throughout
the year. For others it may mean lending expertise for a short-term
project. Then there are those who enjoy working with other adult
volunteers. And some volunteers only want to interact with Brownies! No
matter who you choose to work with or how much time you have to
give, you can make a difference in the lives of girls.
