This position will develop relationships and resources within the community in relation to the GSGWM BFF program, create a structure for extended learning opportunities and expanded career awareness, oversee volunteers, recruit within the schools and evaluate the program. Day Camp Health Director - Camp Kettleford

Day Camp program happens in many locations with terrain varying from flat to hilly. Program often requires movement from one activity area to another, involving some distances. Girls are placed in units by age level and then broken into smaller groups to plan and carry out program. Each day is different. Program is flexible and must be creative. This position requires the ability to work continuously with children and adults eight hours a day, while maintaining a high level of energy and enthusiasm.

The Camp Health Director is responsible for the health and safety of all campers. She is responsible for interpreting, practicing, and enforcing all health and safety policies and procedures. Read more.

 

Resident Health Supervisor - Chenoa, Farnsworth

Camp programs happen in many locations with terrain varying from flat to hilly. Program often requires movement from one activity area to another, involving some distances. Girls are placed in units by age level and then broken into smaller groups to plan and carry out program. Each day is different. Program is flexible and must be creative. This position requires the ability to work with children and adults 24 hours a day, with a minimum of privacy, while maintaining a high level of energy and enthusiasm.

Business Manager - Camp Kettleford

This position requires the ability to work with children and adults 8 hours a day, while maintaining a high level of energy and enthusiasm.

The Business Manager assists the Camp Director in all aspects of camp operation. This may include, but is not limited to the following: accounts payable, accounts receivable, registration, customer service, supervision, trading post, driving, shopping, equipment management, and filing. Waterfront Director - Farnsworth, Kettleford

Day Camp program happens in many locations with terrain varying from flat to hilly. Program often requires movement from one activity area to another, involving some distances. Girls are placed in units by age level and then broken into smaller groups to plan and carry out program. Each day is different. Program is flexible and must be creative. This position requires the ability to work continuously with children and adults, while maintaining a high level of energy and enthusiasm.

The Waterfront Director is responsible for developing, organizing, and implementing the swimming and small crafts program (if offered). She is responsible for the training and supervision of the Waterfront Assistant. The waterfront program should incorporate the Mission and Vision of Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains. Seasonal Assistant Camp Director, Camp Seawood (NH)

The Assistant Camp Director assists the Camp Director in the total operation of the day camp. They may assist in the interviewing, training, and supervision of staff. May oversee the development and implementation of the program and/or  manage campers, transportation, and supplies. She insures that program reflects the mission and vision of Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains. Program Director/Day Camp Director (Camp Abenaki-Mascoma)

The Program Director is responsible for: directing the day camp run on site at the resident camp property; supervision of resident and day camp staff; training and evaluation of staff; developing, organizing and implementing creative program activities and all-camp program events; recognizing achievement; improving staff and camper morale; implementing and helping other program areas; implement Journey’s and other Girl Scout curriculum.

 

Waterfront Assistant (Camp Whispering Pines)

The Waterfront Assistant is responsible for teaching swimming, small crafts (if offered), and for lifeguarding. Is responsible for participating in unit program when not teaching or lifeguarding. The waterfront program should incorporate the Mission and Vision of Girls Scouts of the Green and White Mountains.
