Take Action for Healthy Living
Announcing our Third Annual Council Take Action Project!
This year’s Council Take Action Project will involve girls, troops, and communities in developing healthy living themed Take Action Projects during the months of April, May, and June 2017.
Projects will focus on meeting the Take Action criteria of solving
the root cause of a problem, planning for sustainability, educating
others, and advocating for change.
Help us design a patch that best represents this exciting mission!

2. Must include the year 2017.
3. Must include Council abbreviation GSGWM.
4. Must include the words “Take Action for Healthy Living.”
5. A maximum of 4 colors can be used in the design.
Submit your design by March 31. Click HERE for contest form.
Projects can be completed by communities, troops, or girls working alone or joined together working to solve a larger issue. Girls, troops, or communities may apply for Take Action Mini-Grants* from the Jack and Dorothy Byrne Foundation for their projects.
*Thanks to a generous grant from the Jack and Dorothy Byrne Foundation, we have funding available for Take Action projects! Girl Scout Communities, Troops, and girls working on Take Action projects as part of a Journey, Council Take Action Project, or working toward Bronze, Silver, or Gold Awards may apply for a mini-grant to cover supplies, rentals, etc. See application below.
