Financial Assistance

Financial Assistance is available to girls or adults demonstrating need who are members of the Girl Scouts of Green and White Mountains council. Assistance is granted based on the information provided and availability of funds. Financial assistance is meant to supplement funds that girls, troops and groups have saved or generated from money-earning projects and should not be expected to cover 100 percent of any request. Our council can help with funding membership, troop dues, supplies, programs, travel, and camp.

Girls who have earned Program Credits must use all their Program Credits before financial assistance is awarded.

Members are allowed three financial aid requests per membership year. Only one of these may be a camp or travel grant request. Members must be re-qualified every 12 months.


To initiate a request:

Membership, Camp, and Program Registrations
Families or individuals may request financial assistance for annual membership, camp, or programs online through our membership and event registration system. This can be done by selecting the Financial Assistance (FA) payment option at checkout. Customers may also contact Customer Care for assistance at customercare@girlscoutsgwm.org or 888-474-9686.

Supply Voucher Grants
Supply Vouchers are available for eligible girls and adult volunteers and include eligible items from The Mountain Top Shop.  Items may be picked up at either store location or mailed to you. To apply for a supply voucher grant, please contact Customer Care at customercare@girlscoutsgwm.org or 888-474-9686.

Troop Dues
Troop Dues are available, upon Troop Leader request, to girl members of a GSGWM troop. The amount granted (up to $40) will be sent directly to the troop bank account and the leader will be notified. To request Troop Dues, the Troop Leader should contact Customer Care at customercare@girlscoutsgwm.org or 888-474-9686.

Travel Grants
Travel grants are available to girl members of GSGWM for both a GSUSA Destination trip or a GSGWM Travel Opportunity. Financial assistance will only be available in the year that the trip occurs. Girls must be accepted by a Destination trip or registered for the trip before applying for assistance. Trip registrar will be notified of any assistance granted. Participation in both council product sales programs required.
