Mindful Girl” patch program, developed by Gold Award Girl
Scout Julia Tilton. Learn something about yourself as you
explore topics related to mindfulness, confidence, and healthy
friendships, both online and off. Begin work toward earning
your “A Mindful Girl” patch, and receive materials to complete

for brownies and juniors*
Brownie Safety Award (Grades 2-3)
important to stay safe in your daily life and when you go on
Brownie adventures! We'll start on the 5 steps to earn this
award with Coastal CPR and First Aid.
Counting Stitches (Grades 4-12) Join
Teaching Our Youth Stitching – Embroiderers Guild (EGA) to learn
counted embroidery stitches, such as cross stitch, eyelets, and
backstitch. You will create a personal sampler using charted
alphabet and pictures. Finishing the sampler may be as a small
picture, bag, or pillow.
Explore a few of the
Cybersecurity badge activities: learn about keeping your
information safe online and investigate cybercrimes.

Fling Flyer Design Challenge (For All Ages,
Recommended for Grades 2-3)
Design, build, and
test a fling flyer (paper rocket) and learn about lift, drag,
thrust, and gravity with Xploration STEM Traveling Workshops.
Open to all ages but recommended for Brownies to earn their
Mechanical Engineering 2 badge.
Gyotaku: Art of Fish Printing
Join Bow Seat
Ocean Awareness Programs by tapping into your creative side
while making marine science art! During this hands-on
workshop, participants will practice “gyotaku,” a traditional
Japanese art form of fish printing, and we will discuss how to
be good ocean caretakers. Participants will learn basic
printmaking techniques and take home their own prints. No art
experience is necessary!

explore how living cells can be combined with biomaterials to
form 3-Dimensional structures as a technique used in the bio
manufacturing of tissues and organs in the future.
Money Smart (Grades K-3)

introduction to financial literacy as you also earn a
requirement or two towards the Daisy/Brownie financial
literacy petals and badges.
Pillowcase Project - Presented by the American Red
Cross (Grades 4-5)
You’ll learn about
preparedness during two different types of emergencies, winter
storms and fire and how to keep our bodies calm during
emergencies. Each child receives a pillowcase, marker and
workbook at the completion of the course.
Prepare with Pedro - Presented by the American Red
Cross (Grades K-3)
Find out about fire
prevention and how to keep your bodies healthy, safe, calm and
prepared during any emergency.
Robots, LEGOS, and Girl Scouts, Oh My!
program, and test a robot made from LEGOs to complete the
Robotics Badges. Leaders learn how to integrate FIRST programs
into your troop and how to access grants to get started.
