ARC CPR/AED/FA Blended Course

Prerequisite: Must have completed the volunteer process prior to registering. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the skills session.
This is a 2-part course. Part 1 is online, Part 2 is a classroom skills session. This allows you to complete part of the course at home at your convenience and attend a shorter skills session class to practice the hands-on skills of CPR AED and First Aid.
The Adult First Aid/CPR/AED blended learning course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies. The online portion features award-winning simulation learning – an interactive experience where you will respond to real-world emergencies in a virtual setting and practice the skills that will prepare you for the instructor-led classroom skill session. Allow approximately 3 hours to complete the online portion. The online course must be completed prior to attending the classroom portion of blended learning.
ARC certification is valid for 2 years. Participants who feel they may have difficutly with the physical aspects of practicing CPR AED should contact the instructor about accommodations.
