BEDFORD, NH – Homeschooled students are invited to take part in some amazing opportunities through Girl Scouting – both in person and online!

Girl Expo

Girls of all ages and their families are invited to the Girl Expo, a full day of everything exciting for girls on Sunday, Oct. 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the New Hampshire Sportsplex in Bedford. The event is open to the entire family and includes performances, hands-on exhibits, giveaways, and more. With more than 100 activities and exhibitors, you’ll want to get there early and stay all day. The majority of activities are included in the $5 ticket price, there is free parking, and food trucks will be on site for lunch.

The expo offers girls and their entire families plenty of opportunities to explore their interests in the outdoors, STEM, the arts, healthy living, and life skills through interactive activities.

This year’s expo features performances by SubZero Nitrogen Ice Cream on the science of ice cream, a talent showcase from the Miss New Hampshire program, baton twirling by Ameri-Kids Baton Twirling team, line dance, an egg drop challenge, and a Girl Scout uniform fashion show, and more.

Tickets are available by calling 888-474-9686, visiting, and at the door. Advance purchases are appreciated.

Magical baking and more online

From October through May, Girl Scouts of all ages can explore the magic of baking in a series of eight programs. Discover the magic of yeast, steam, gooey centers, creamy bases, fruity fillings, and sourdough. Learn online and bake at home. See more at

Girl Scouts can also choose badges or Journeys for their age level, working at their own pace over five weeks. Younger girls can learn about being a good neighbor and good citizen, while older girls may choose a Journey series on helping keep the Earth healthy, nutrition, and justice. Even more opportunities

When there's space for her imagination to grow, there's no stopping where she'll go. As a Girl Scout, your girl will dream big, belong to a sisterhood, and explore her world through hands-on adventures. Whether she’s watching a shooting star in the sky, creating her own art, or making new friends, as a Girl Scout, with the guidance and support of caring adult volunteers by her side, she’ll grow with her troop as the girls discover, imagine, and create together.

Girl Scouts are invited to participate in person or online, as part of a troop or as an individual. Explore the possibilities. See
