Welcome Cadettes! Join Coastal CPR and First Aid in The Child and Babysitting Safety course which covers child safety and basic care techniques for children. Class teaches basic safety, fun activities to entertain children of various age groups, diapering procedures, providing emergency care, basic first aid and much more! The remote option of this course allows girls to participate with the video and presentation information at home. Some practical skills exercises are also completed ahead of time at home. We then meet in 1 2-hour remote session on Sunday, July 30th at 6:00PM ET to participate in group exercises and practice important skills.
Class includes a certification card to show parents that you are a certified babysitter. Course textbook & first aid supplies mailed out to girls before start of course. This course covers most of the requirements for the Cadette Babysitting Badge.
Supplies girls will need at home (not included):
• Doll (infant handling practice and diapering)
• Diaper or folded bandana
Optional: Create a babysitters bag from directions on handout that will be in their packet.
