Date: Sat Dec 20, 1:30 PM EST - Sat Dec 20, 4:30 PM EST
Girl Scouts of all levels, bring your family and friends for an
afternoon of indoor winter fun! Make holiday decorations, winter
treats, and compete in a gingerbread house decorating contest as you
explore different crafting techniques!
We'll have crafts geared
towards a variety of ages. All participants will make snow globes and
try their hand at acrylic paint pouring. Younger participants will
also make knotted fleece pillowcases while older participants try
their hand at designing beaded snowflake jewelry.
Everyone will
enjoy making and eating winter treats. We'll make rice crispy treat
snowmen and have a hot cocoa bar. Then team up as a troop, family, or
friend group to brainstorm and build your gingerbread abode.
Participate in a gingerbread house decorating competition and help
vote for the most creative and best built houses!
