Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts can work together on their Think Like a Citizen Scientist Journey as you find out how citizen scientists make observations, collect data, and help scientists conduct scientific research to find answers to questions and solve problems in the natural world. Working at your own pace, you will take part in multiple citizen science projects to explore the scientific method and the importance of making observations, iteration, and collecting data over time. Journeys not only build your leadership skills, they are the steppingstones to the Silver and the Gold Awards. This program consists of five units of online programming and optional live virtual meetings over Zoom, July 17 and August 7, 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm Eastern, to learn about virtual programs and share experiences with Girl Scouts from around the country. The Journey Awards may be purchased online or through your local council. This Journey Series is open to rising and current Cadette, Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts and requires a minimum of 10 Girl Scouts to run.
