Camp Kettleford welcomes Girl Scouts who have completed Kindergarten through grade 8 with one-week programs. Campers who have completed 5th grade and up can participate in two-week programs. Campers can be dropped off at 9:00 a.m. and picked up by 5:00 p.m. or ride the bus from a location close to them. Families can join in the fun at camp on Wednesday nights. Be sure to look for new troop and family camping weekends this summer.
Established in 1953, Camp Kettleford provides an environment for campers to learn new skills and make new friends. Theme weeks keep things fun while campers experience their favorite camp activities like paddling, canoeing, swimming, campfire cooking, sing-alongs and more!
Camp Kettleford specialty programs enhance your camper's summer experience. Expand upon their creativity skills as they create art while adventuring through all camp has to offer. Practice their target sport skills with slingshots, archery and airsoft rifles.

Our summer staff are recruited from around the world. They are college students, parents, teachers, and others who enjoy working with children.
Camp staff make camp an amazing experience for Girl Scouts and have the opportunity to build their resume and have fun in the sun. Staff can work from 2 weeks to 8 weeks. Training, salary and discounted camp registration for daughters is provided.
Some of the positions we have include:
Unit Leaders are responsible for everything that happens in a camp unit: camper supervision, girl planning, and program delivery. The UL supervises 3-4 Unit Assistants and as many as 32 campers. (Age 21+)
Unit Assistants are responsible for the health and welfare of the campers in their charge and for helping girls plan and carry out their own program. (Age 18+)

Day Camp Program Aide
Program Aides are role models for younger Girl Scouts. Deepen your understanding of what leadership and responsibility mean, in addition to enjoying all the fun at camp including late-night activities. Your Program Aide training will be completed during camp.
Camp Program Aide
Gain valuable leadership experience and have fun at this camp program that expands on your Program Aide training. Camp Program Aides assist in all areas of camp—waterfront, adventure, office, kitchen, crafts, and in units. In between, you’ll get to enjoy camp program areas as a unit.
Counselor in Training (CIT 1 & 2)
This training program provides you with skills and knowledge you'll need to become a successful staff member. In your first year, spend time brushing up on your camp skills, practicing new leadership skills, and gaining valuable experience in working with campers. The next year, either take your training further to refine your skills by observing and assisting experienced staff and immerse yourself in working with an assigned camper group or take the leap and apply as a Unit Assistant (must be 16+) to put your skills into practice.

Register for these programs on the Events Calendar with your favorite camp; space is limited in these programs. To complete registration for the CIT program, campers will be sent an application and reference form in April and take part in a group interview before camp begins. The application, references, and interview have no impact on the camper participating in the program and are instead used to gauge current knowledge and practice real-world skills.
Financial assistance (campership) is available for qualifying girls who are members of the Girl Scouts and the Green and White Mountains council. Program credits earned by girls who are members of the Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains council may also be used to pay for camp. 2025 Program Credits expire March 31, 2026. 2026 Program Credits will be issued first week in May.
To apply for campership, or use your program credits, register online for the program your camper would like to attend. If you are not a Girl Scout, you will need to purchase Girl Scout membership. Under Included Items, you will see the options to apply for financial assistance, apply your 2025 program credits, or apply your 2026 program credits, toward your order. You may select any or all of these options, then proceed to checkout and pay the deposit with a credit card. You will then be contacted via email with next steps. Please reply promptly to expedite the process. Please note that selection of these options is not a guarantee that you have program credits or will be awarded financial assistance.
You may also fill out our Camp Payment Request Form to request earned program credits be applied to your camp order, or to request camp financial assistance, before or after registration.
Nestled within 30 forested acres on the banks of Sandy and Sebbins Ponds, Camp Kettleford is just minutes from Manchester, New Hampshire. Girls can explore our many trails with a nature hike, play their favorite games on our sports field, test their brains and brawn on our low-challenge activities, and beat the summer heat by going for a paddle around the ponds.
