If you’re in sixth grade or older, you can travel independently and meet Girl Scouts from around the world on Girl Scout Destinations.
GET DETAILSThese council trips are organized by internationally recognized tour companies and chaperoned by GSGWM staff and volunteers. Any registered Girl Scout who is over the age of 14 at the time of the trip may register for these amazing trips. Adults interested in applying to chaperone any of our council trips may apply for a trip through council. Both individual girls and troops may register.
Girl Scouts get ready for the ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME! This fantastic adventure starts with a week in London seeing all the famous sights (Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, and St. Paul’s Cathedral, to name a few) including an excursion to Stonehenge and Bath, Oxford, afternoon tea, a visit to Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, a Thames River cruise, and more! You’ll also see a show in the renowned West End theatre district and make a visit to the Pax Lodge WAGGGS World Center for a special pinning ceremony.
From London, you’ll head north to the beautiful countryside of Lincolnshire for one of the biggest scouting jamborees in the UK - Poacher International Jamboree 2026 - where you’ll camp out under the stars with over 6,000 new friends from around the world, tenting with experienced guides from Cleethorpe, England and enjoy a week of fun, friendship, and adventure. Poacher offers a show-stopping schedule of entertainment to keep every moment of your day as exciting as possible. With hundreds of adventurous and creative activities as well as exciting programs of entertainment and trips to local places of interest and their special Water Village, there is something to suit all ages and tastes! Featured activities include kayaking, archery, hovercrafts, go-karting, circus arts, and much, much more! DON’T MISS OUT ON THIS EPIC ADVENTURE THAT TAKES PLACE EVERY FOUR YEARS!
Program Cost: $4,898 + $930 non-refundable Poacher fees & council service fee deposit due upon enrollment. Included in program cost: R/T airfare from Boston, Full-time tour director with Explorica in London, all overnight accommodations while abroad, ground transportation, entrance and attraction fees as indicated on itinerary, Poacher entrance fee, camping, and all meals at Poacher, breakfast and dinner daily in London.
