Girl Scouts around our council are always active – camping,
traveling, doing service projects, and making the world a better
place. Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains invites all Girl
Scouts in our council to share photos of their adventures,
achievements, projects, and more. Send your photos to us at customercare@girlscoutsgwm.org.
Be sure to include a description of the event, your troop number and
levels involved, when it took place, and any other relevant
information.
Trail games
The 12 first-grade girls in Gerene Ellis’s Daisy Troop #59004 in Bedford, NH, recently completed their Eco Learner and Trail Adventure badges. The girls hiked Mt. Uncanoonuc in Goffstown, NH. For many of our girls this was their first mountain! The girls learned about the Leave No Trace principles, what to pack for a hike, and the basic use of a compass. With magnifying glasses they observed what is living on and off the trail to reinforce why staying on the path is important. They had a scavenger hunt and played some fun trail games. It was a great way to enjoy the beauty of fall in New England!
Girl Scout sisters forever!
Sometimes submissions to Troop Spotlight come to us in different forms. The Girl Scouts of Troop 10085 in Hooksett, NH, have graduated and gone on to college, but shared this screenshot with us!
