Weekly Troop Spotlight: November 15, 2019

Troop Spotlight Header

Girl Scouts around our council are always active – camping, traveling, doing service projects, and making the world a better place. Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains invites all Girl Scouts in our council to share photos of their adventures, achievements, projects, and more. Send your photos to us at customercare@girlscoutsgwm.org. Be sure to include a description of the event, your troop number and levels involved, when it took place, and any other relevant information.

Bucket o’ brains

For Halloween, the Girl Scouts of Troop 59205 in Mont Vernon, NH, celebrated the holiday and the birthday of our founder, Juliette Gordon Low. At left, the girls had to be brave to dive into the pumpkins and touch a variety of gross items (eyeballs or brains, anyone?). They could also have the courage to say yes or no to the challenge. One leader dressed as Juliette, and another was very witchy!

Be a star!

Daisy Troop 60160 in Merrimack, NH, took a field trip to the Apple store. They learned about making movies and made their own film trailers. It was an amazing day of teamwork and technology.

Kettleford campfire

Brownies, Juniors and some family members of Girl Scout Troop 60533 of Bedford, NH, had a great time around the campfire at Camp Kettleford, with singing, stories, silliness, S’mores and sisterhood!
