Girl Scouts around our council are always active – camping,
traveling, doing service projects, and making the world a better
place. Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains invites all Girl
Scouts in our council to share photos of their adventures,
achievements, projects, and more. Send your photos to us at customercare@girlscoutsgwm.org.
Be sure to include a description of the event, your troop number and
levels involved, when it took place, and any other relevant
information.
Cadettes on the Connecticut
Girl Scout Cadette Troop 10857 of Windsor, VT, met a few weeks ago at a local field, brainstorming things they could do locally in place of their annual summer camping trip, which was cancelled due to COVID guidelines, and settled on a kayaking trip instead. They were able to float down the Connecticut right in their hometown, with parent pick-up and drop-off keeping them within guidelines.
Troop leader Jennifer Billingham said, “We had an amazing three hours on the river on a day that started cold and gloomy. This is how we socially distanced!”
