Girl Scouts around our council are always active – camping,
traveling, doing service projects, and making the world a better
place. Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains invites all Girl
Scouts in our council to share photos of their adventures,
achievements, projects, and more. Send your photos to us at customercare@girlscoutsgwm.org.
Be sure to include a description of the event, your troop number and
levels involved, when it took place, and any other relevant
information.
Brownies fly up at Smuggler's Notch
On Thursday, September 3, Troop 51776 of Fairfax, Vermont, welcomed six new Juniors to their troop! During a social distancing "Fly-Up" ceremony at Bootlegger Basin at the Smugglers' Notch Resort, girls were presented with their Brownie Wings and "flew out of the nest" while watching the sun setting under Mt. Mansfield. Later they enjoyed a welcome-back ice cream social. The majority of this troop have been together for five years, since their time as young Daisies!
