Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors, join us for a weekend of skill building and outdoor fun! Choose your own adventure with workshops like pasta making, archery, a puzzle challenge, climbing, crafts, and more. Work on badge steps from the outdoor, life skills, and leadership series. Program Aide training will be available as an afternoon workshop.
Facilitated by GSGWM team member(s). Designed for troops with an adult chaperone, individual youth participants with an adult chaperone, or individual youth participants on their own. Individual participants on their own will be supervised by GSGWM team members. Badges not provided. Fun patch provided. Lodging will be in platform tents (4 people per tent) or cabins (5-12 people per cabin). Troops may share lodging based on the number of participants. Saturday meals, a snack, and Sunday breakfast provided. This program requires at least 40 youth participants to run.
Adult chaperones should also register for this event to meet Safety Activity Checkpoints youth to adult ratios. All adults attending must comply with all GSGWM's policies and procedures. At least one adult must have Outdoor Adventure Workshop (OAW) training (available online, no fee).
You will receive a detailed confirmation including arrival details and a packing list by e-mail within two weeks before the program date. Check-in time is between 6pm-7pm with activities beginning at 7pm. Troops travelling from far may arrive between 6pm and 9pm.
Registrations that can be accommodated after the registration close date will be subject to a $10 late fee.
