The STEM Van is coming back to Vermont! Choose from one of three programs:
Stop Motion Videography
Girl Scouts, learn how stop motion
videos are made, then make your own! Note: Participants will need a
cell phone or tablet with the ability to take photos and download the
Stop Motion Factory app. Minimal extras will be available. This
program is a good supplemental activity for troops working towards the
DBJ Art and Design, Craft and Tinker, and Create and Innovate badges
as well as the Junior Digital Photography, Cadette Digital Movie
Maker, and Ambassador Photographer badges.
The Amazing Properties of Paper
Girl Scouts, explore the
properties of paper as you make paper pinwheels, paper rollercoasters,
paper flying devices, and a paper animation! This program is a good
supplemental activity for troops working towards the DBJ Art and
Design, Craft and Tinker, and Create and Innovate badges as well as
the Cadette Book Artist and Cadette Comic Artist badges.
Ad Astra Escape Adventure
Puzzles tickle your brain when you
are looking at something that's always been there and you suddenly see
something new. We're not going to give you any spoilers, but we are
Girl Scouts and this is the STEM Van. Our puzzlemaster has prepared
for you a unique set of interlocking themed puzzles that will
challenge your team and bend your brain. Sometimes you go to an escape
room. This time, the escape room comes to YOU. This program fulfills
step 4 of the Senior Game Visionary Badge. Note: This program is
designed for Cadettes-Ambassadors.
