Date: Sat Mar 14, 9:00 AM EDT - Sat Mar 14, 12:00 PM EDT
Join us for an American Red Cross training class to learn the
skills to help someone in need. Whether you are a troop leader,
volunteer, or parent/guardian, this training will help you throughout
your Girl Scout experiences and in everyday life. The First
Aid/CPR/AED course will give you the information and the skills you
need to help adults, children, and infants during many emergency
situations, including cardiac emergencies.
This course includes a 2-3-hour self-guided online learning
course prior to attending the in-person skill session. Online courses
must be completed in advance of the skills session to successfully
complete the course. Once both the online course and in-person
training are successfully completed, you will receive a two-year certification.
Facilitated by GSGWM team member(s) or volunteer(s). Designed for
adult volunteers. This program requires at least 5 participants to
run.
Starting three weeks before the in-person session, and then
every few days up until the program registration closes, we will
e-mail registered participants the online training information
directly from American Red Cross to complete. A detailed confirmation
will be sent by e-mail within one week before the program date,
including in-person program details.
Registrations that can be accommodated after the registration
close date will be subject to a $5 late fee per person.
