Juniors through Ambassadors, join Buff City Soap to explore the science and fun behind bath bombs and shower steamers! You'll get to choose your own colors and scents for these creations, then work with the instructor to mold them into perfectly fizzy spa-day supplies! From an apple-scented pink bath bomb to a fragrant pine rainbow shower steamer, the opportunities are endless and bound only by your imagination. What will you whip up?
This program gives you the option of making either bath bombs or shower steamers, to fit whatever bathing setup you have at home! You will need to choose your option during the registration process and cannot alter your choice later on. Please note that due to the different sizes of these items, if you choose bath bombs you will be able to make about 5 and if you choose shower steamers you will be able to make about 11.
Facilitated by our program partner, Buff City Soap. Designed for troops or individuals with an adult chaperone. No food or drink will be provided or permitted in the workspace (aside from water). Please plan to eat before or after the program. This program requires a minimum of 10 youth participants to run.
Adult chaperones should also register for this event to meet the Safety Activity Checkpoints' youth to adult ratios. All adults attending must comply with all GSGWM's policies and procedures.
A detailed confirmation will be sent by e-mail within one week before the program date, including in-person program details. Registrations that can be accommodated after the registration close date will be subject to a $5 late fee per person. Questions?
