Date: Fri Apr 24, 9:00 AM EDT - Sun Apr 26, 12:00 PM EDT
Join us for a day or weekend of camp clean-up at Camp Farnsworth!
Troops, groups, and families are invited to help with cleaning,
inventory, painting, log splitting, and property maintenance projects
to help prepare camp for the spring and summer. If you volunteer your
time to help at camp, then you can enjoy a free night of camping on
Friday or Saturday night the same weekend as a thank you for your hard
work!
Volunteer commitment primarily includes projects on
Saturday April 24 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. where we will provide lunch,
snacks, and water. And additional volunteer time is requested on
Sunday April 25 from 9 a.m.- 12 p.m.
Volunteers grade 4
and older are preferred due to the nature of camp projects and weekend
tasks, but we welcome anyone that is willing to help. Additionally, to
stay a night at camp, at least one adult in your group needs to have
their Outdoor Adventure Workshop Training (OAW), available online on
your own time for no cost.
There are so many ways to
volunteer, choose the one that works best for you! We will collect
details of your availability and possible overnight interest after
registration.
