Juniors and Cadettes and their parents/caregivers/troop leaders, join a local Vermont artist for a workshop course exploring mixed media painting and analog collage! Explore the techniques, strategies, and creative uses of both paint and collage while you create art pieces that feel like they're from a mystical and magical world! Junior Girl Scout participants will work towards their Art and Design badge.
Facilitated by our program partner, The Astral Space, with local artist Erica Victoria. Designed for families, troops, or individuals with an adult. Badge not provided. Materials such as paints, canvas, newspapers, magazines, and stickers will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own collage supplies as well. No food or drink will be provided or permitted in the workspace (aside from water). Please plan to eat before or after the program. This program requires a minimum of 10 participants to run.
Adult chaperones should also register for this event to meet the Safety Activity Checkpoints youth to adult ratios. All adults attending must comply with all of GSGWM's policies and procedures.
You will receive a detailed confirmation, including arrival details, by e-mail within one week before the program date.
Registrations that can be accommodated after the registration close date will be subject to a $5 late fee per youth participant.
