Stacie Labore leads Girl Scout Troop 13912
MERRIMACK, NH – Exemplary service and dedication to the mission of Girl Scouts does not go unrecognized. Stacie Labore, 46, of Merrimack was awarded the Girl Scout Appreciation Pin on June 2 by Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains, the council serving New Hampshire and Vermont.
Labore is the leader of Troop 13912, which has nine Girl Scout Ambassadors in 11th grade, and is a troop product sales coordinator, and a community product sales coordinator. She was named Volunteer of the Month in January of 2018 and a Volunteer of Excellence in June of 2019. Many of the girls in her troop have earned their Bronze, Silver or Gold Awards under her guidance. She volunteers for the camporee committee and offered to store and catalog all community equipment at her home.
Troop helper Karen Roe credits Labore with fostering encouragement and leadership in the Girl Scouts’ lives, who have baked cookies for a holiday parade each year, prepared a scavenger hunt at an annual food drive, and hosted a Fairyland Ball for younger Girl Scouts.
Meredith Campbell, a volunteer support coordinator with the council, said Labore stepped up last year to help with the cookie sale.
“She supported the leaders and was especially welcoming and patient to the new leaders and cookie parents,” said Campbell. “She regularly communicated about cookie sale updates and hosted her own Zoom sessions to help leaders with questions about eBudde. She fostered a strong sense of collaboration and mentorship within the community team.”
Patricia Murphy, community product sales coordinator for Fall Product, said “Stacie has shown her dedication and devotion to her troop and community. Her willingness to take on our community needs and make it look effortless shows her strong leadership and organizational skills.”
Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains is grateful to Stacie Labore for her many contributions.

We Are Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Through programs from coast to coast, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges—whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them.
