$1,000 gift comes from 20-year supporter of council
LITTLETON, NH – Girl Scouts across Vermont and New Hampshire will benefit from a $1,000 donation from Passumpsic Bank, a community bank serving Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, central Vermont and New Hampshire’s North Country. The donation was made March 24 at the bank’s Littleton branch to Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains, the council serving Girl Scouts across New Hampshire and Vermont.
“Strong communities are built on strong foundations,” said Rochelle Eastman, sustainability and community reinvestment associate at Passumpsic Bank. “The girls of our community are tomorrow’s innovators, leaders, and changemakers. We are honored to stand alongside an organization that equips girls with the tools, mentorship, and confidence to reach their fullest potential.”
Heather McQuade, donor relations specialist with the Girl Scout council, said, “We are grateful for this continued commitment from Passumpsic Bank in this vital work! We look forward to continuing to grow this community partnership.”
Passumpsic Bank has been a supporter of Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains for more than 20 years. The bank is also a sponsor of the council’s upcoming FutureFest, a career day for Girl Scouts, and will attend as an exhibitor.

We Are Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Through programs from coast to coast, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges—whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them. Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains serves girls throughout New Hampshire and Vermont through volunteer-run troops, events, and virtual programs. Visit www.girlscoutsgwm.org to learn more.
