Cadettes through Adults, join us for an American Red Cross training
class to learn the skills to help someone in need. Whether you are an
older Girl Scout, troop leader, volunteer, or parent/guardian this
training will help you throughout your Girl Scout experiences and in
everyday life. The First Aid/CPR/AED course will give you the
information and the skills you need to help adults, children, and
infants during many emergency situations, including cardiac emergencies.
This course includes a 2-3-hour, self-guided, online learning
course prior to attending the in-person skill session. Online courses
must be completed in advance of the skills session to successfully
complete the course. Once both the online course and in-person
training is successfully complete, you will receive a two-year certification.
Facilitated by GSGWM team member(s) or volunteer(s). Designed for
adult or individuals with an adult chaperone. This program requires at
least 5 participants to run.
Starting three weeks before the
in-person session, and then every few days up until the program
registration closes, we will e-mail registered participants the online
training information directly from American Red Cross to complete. A
detailed confirmation will be sent by e-mail within one week before
the program date, including in-person program details.
Registrations that can be accommodated after the registration
close date will be subject to a $5 late fee per person.
