into your own working model of a vehicle that’s powered by an
alternative fuel! Learn about simple machines in vehicles, engineer a
vehicle that uses alternative fuel and build a vehicle prototype.
Then, test and revise your prototype and share your vehicle prototype
and testing results. When you’ve earned this badge, you’ll know how to
use the Design Thinking Process to plan, build, test and improve

Culinary Club: Simple Meals Badge
For Girl Scout Juniors. There's steam and bubbles, interesting
tools, and amazing smells...and lots of room for experiments. And it's
not a laboratory--it's a kitchen! In the Culinary Club, Juniors will
make amazing meals and learn to create whole meals of their own. As a
member of the Junior Culinary Club, girls will learn how to fix a
healthy lunch or dinner; create a delicious dessert; make a one-pot
meal or a 3-course meal. Juniors will learn to think like a Chef as
they plan a well-balanced meal. Runs November 5 - December 10.
For Girl Scout Juniors. Find out how computers gather
information and solve problems while earning the third badge in the
Cybersecurity series. You do not need to have completed the previous
two badges to participate in Cybersecurity Investigator. Explore how
to use your powers of observation to investigate questions and find

Democracy for Juniors
For Girl Scout Juniors. With a general election coming up, it
is the perfect time to learn more about our country’s democracy! Join
us to participate in a mock election, a mock trial, and learn what
goes into political campaigns and the legislative process in whole.

virtual session from 3-5pm EDT on 10/25.

4:00-6:00pm EDT (3:00-5:00pm Central Time, 2:00-4:00pm Mountain Time,
1:00-3:00pm Pacific Time). Explore how to use a digital camera to
create one-of-a-kind photos.
Juniors will earn and
receive their badge in the mail approximately 2 weeks after attending

search for treasure chests, called "geocaches," using a
device called a GPS receiver. Learn how to have a geocaching adventure
and then go on one while earning the Junior Geocacher badge. Runs
October 14 - November 18.
Get Moving Journey
For Girl Scout Juniors. Explore energy and how to use it wisely
by interviewing power-use experts and conducting an energy audits of a
building in your community. Then, plan a Take Action project to fix an
energy problem in your community to earn your Junior Get Moving
Journey set. You could launch carpools, work to dim the lights on city
buildings, or promote energy savings at your school. Runs October
16 - November 20.

and learn more about Girl Scout Traditions and its legacy?! Sing
everywhere, share sisterhood, make the world a better place, and have

Highest Award Info Webinar - Bronze
For Girl Scout Juniors. Learn more about earning the Highest
Award for Juniors. Spend time with our council Awards Coordinator to
brainstorm about your Bronze Award ideas and ask any questions about

Jam virtually this year! We created this virtual day of programs just
for you! Meet other juniors, earn 3 badges, and have tons of fun! You
will pick your three badges after registering and receive material
lists and zoom links.
This day long program is live

Let's Make Ravioli For Dinner
For Girl Scout Juniors. Join Katie, Registered Dietitian from
Food Explorers to make homemade ravioli for your family! You’ll learn
how to make your own pasta and whip up a delicious cheesy filling,
without needing a pasta machine! Using just a rolling pin and some
muscles, you’ll have perfect ravioli in no time.
Required Ingredients (not included): 2 eggs, AP flour, olive
oil, salt, ricotta, shredded mozzarella, parsley, plus optional basil
and nutmeg. October 30, 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
For Girl Scout Juniors. Pop, rock or jazz - what’s your musical
style? Take a musical journey and explore instruments, try your hand
at composition, and take the stage. Earn your Musician badge by
working virtually with a professional musician from the Manchester
Community Music School to explore how music is made.

For Girl Scout Juniors. Staying fit is key to maintaining a
healthy lifestyle. Learn what fitness, food and fun you need to stay
strong for life. Share tips to get moving; keep your body fueled; know
how to stress less; get the truth about health; and help your family
get and stay fit. Upon completion of this badge, you will know what
you need to get strong and stay that way. Runs November 6 -
Staying Fit Yoga Class Badge Workshop
For Girl Scout Juniors. Girl Scout Juniors will earn their
"Staying Fit" badge in this active workshop! Girls will
participate in interactive activities to learn about staying healthy
and strong. They will learn about healthy foods, keeping our bodies
strong, and taking care of our emotions and mental health. They will
participate in two types of exercise- a short tabata exercise, and a
yoga class including breathing, poses, stretching, and meditation.

Think Like a Programmer
For Girl Scout Juniors. Have you ever wondered what goes into
your favorite technology? Does programming fascinate you? Then
challenge yourself to think like a programmer and earn the journey.
You will complete your Think Like a Programmer Journey and Take Action
Project and explore computational thinking to solve problems, make
images with tangrams, create mad libs, and learn more about
algorithms, abstraction, functions, and technological innovation! This
program consists of five weeks of blogsite programming and two
optional live sessions. Runs November 2 - December 7.
