Virtual programs are a great way to connect with your Girl Scout sisters and earn badges and Journeys while at home. Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains encourages you to stay safe and healthy while continuing your Girl Scout experience from home! Girls and parents should make sure to review the the Virtual Troop Meetings Safety Activity Checkpoint

In-Person Activities

We are excited to again start offering some in-person activities starting in August 2020. These activities will be held outside with social distancing processes in place.  Please see our calendar to view all of our in-person events and more!

Virtual Programs

Programs for Multi Age Levels

   Community Service Club

For Girl Scout Daisies through Ambassadors. Practice the Girl Scout slogan “Do a good turn daily” by participating in our community service club! Special Girl Scout and local community volunteer opportunities will be emailed to you throughout the year and discussed during our monthly Zoom meetings, giving you the opportunity to earn one or more service awards. This year we will have a year of animal focused community service, helping our furry friends out all over New Hampshire and Vermont!

Girls will participate in a Google Classroom on their own schedule. Computer or mobile device with internet access needed. Runs October 1, 2020 - September 30, 2021.

Daisy Virtual Programs


Daisy Money Counts & Making Choices Leaves

For Girl Scout Daisies (Grades K-1) Earn your Daisy Money Counts and Making Choices Leave with us! Super charge your money knowledge with this program! You will learn how to save money, count money, make goals, and have fun with money matters. You will create a goal chart, a savings bank, and learn a fun money song to dance and sing to so you never forget your money smarts!

This program is a live virtual 2 hour event on March 13th from 11:00am to 1:00pm EST (10:00-12:00 pm Central, 9:00-11:00 am Central, 8:00-10:00 am Pacific). Girls will receive their badge in the mail 2-3 weeks after attending the program.

Materials needed (not included): money (fake or real), calculator, pencil, paper, small plastic container, markers or crayons, a ruler, glue or tape, and scissors.

Adult supervision is required. All adults must comply with all standards based on GSGWM's policies and procedures. Adults do not need to register to supervise girls.

Daisy Petal Day

For Girl Scout Daisies (Grades K-1) It has been difficult this year to get all your Daisy petals done or maybe you are a brand new Daisy- either way join us for Daisy Petal Day! This program is a live virtual program will be held on March 20th from 12:00-6:00pm EST (11:00am-5:00pm Central, 10:00am-4:00pm Mountain, 9:00am-3:00pm Pacific). The program will include lots of moving, activities, talking with other Daisies from around the country and will be structured in a way to give you lots of breaks and time to recharge while you have so much fun! You will learn songs, new things about Girl Scouts, meet all the Daisy Flower friends, make crafts, do activities, play games, help others, and more!

Girls will receive the entire package of petals in the mail 2-3 weeks after attending the program. If girls already have earned a couple of petals and you have the petal pack already, please let us know and we can send a fun patch instead of the petals.

Material lists and Zoom links will be sent out ahead of the program.

Adult supervision is required. All adults must comply with all standards based on GSGWM's policies and procedures. Adults do not need to register to supervise girls.

Brownie Virtual Programs

Brownie Senses Badge Event

For Girl Scout Brownies (Grades 2-3) You have five senses that work together to let you see, hear, smell, taste, and touch the world around you. Explore all of the sensory around you and also through the virtual screen as we play some challenges that will put your senses to the test! This program will be held live on March 28th from 12:00pm-2:00pm ET.  Brownies will earn and receive their Brownie Senses Badge in the mail after attending the meeting.

Required supplies (not included): art supplies (colored pencils, paper, etc. whatever you have available and would prefer), scissors, blind fold,  a magazine, glue/ tape, your favorite snack.

Adult supervision is required. 

Adults do not need to register to supervise girls. All adults must comply with all standards based on GSGWM's policies and procedures.

Brownie Pets Badge Event

For Girl Scout Brownies (Grades 2-3) Learn how to keep pets comfortable and happy and make a pet bed and toys. How do choose the pet that’s right for you. Find out how to take the best care of a pet you already have. Help your pet be comfy, healthy and loved.

This program is a live virtual 2 hour event on March 21 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm EST (12:00 - 2:00pm Central, 11:00am - 1:00pm Mountain, 10:00am-12:00pm Pacific). Girls will receive their badge in the mail 2-3 weeks after attending the program.

Materials needed (not included): Materials needed (not included):  2 squares of fleece, or other material you may have in your house. You will need about 3 to 4 yards for the pet bed and for the stuffing: polyester fill, old socks, or even plastic bags. Two long socks, 12 oz soda/water bottle. Materials suggestion to build a mini pet home: Play-Doh, foam shapes, popsicle sticks, cardboard, newspaper or magazines, toilet paper or paper towel tubes, plastic containers – use what you have around the house.

Adult supervision is required.

JunioR Virtual Programs

Junior Jeweler Badge Event - Irish Celtic Edition

For Girl Scout Juniors (Grades 4-5) Earn your Junior Jeweler Badge with us! Create wearable works of art in the Celtic Tradition ahead of St. Patrick’s Day! You will learn how to make a Celtic knot and what it means, create a wearable Kairn and learn about them, create a bejeweled headband with Irish motifs, and make other Ireland inspired jewelry ahead of St. Patrick’s Day.

This program is a live virtual 2 hour event on March 13th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm EST (1:00-3:00pm Central, 12:00-2:00pm Mountain, 11:00-1:00pm Pacific). Girls will receive their badge in the mail 2-3 weeks after attending the program.

Materials needed (not included): pliers, wire cutters or heavy duty scissors, regular scissors, jewelry wire, beads of any variety (you will want a decent amount), headband (any kind), hot glue, paper, pencil, tape or craft glue, markers or crayons, ruler, string (twine or cord is best, but any will do), ribbon, small piece of thick cardboard, sequins (optional), and any jewelry making supplies you have.

Adult supervision is required. All adults must comply with all standards based on GSGWM's policies and procedures. Adults do not need to register to supervise girls.

Junior Playing the Past Badge Event

For Girl Scout Juniors (Grades 4-5) Ever wonder what is was like to grow up in the past? The Playing the Past badge can answer that! You will learn to “churn” butter, make a horn brook, hand crochet, play colonial games, travel through history, and do an activity from different centuries! You will be able to understand how life was for girls throughout history!

This program is a live virtual 2 hour event on March 21 from EST 4:00pm to 6:00pm EST (3:00 - 5:00pm Central, 2:00 - 4:00pm Mountain, 1:00-3:00pm Pacific).  Girls will receive their badge in the mail 2-3 weeks after attending the program.

Materials needed (not included): small container with a lid, heavy cream, head band (hard or soft that they can use to craft with) hot glue, beads (general fun decorating supplies like sequins, ribbon, etc.), card board, white paper, markers, glue, scissors, yarn, and a pencil. Optional: any size crochet hook

Adult supervision is required. All adults must comply with all standards based on GSGWM's policies and procedures.

Cadette Virtual Programs

Cadette Comic Artist- St. Patricks Day Edition

For Girl Scout Cadettes (Grades 6-8) Newspaper cartoons, comic books, graphic novels…comic art is a broad, exciting, and growing field. Comics are sometimes described as “sequential art,” though some are only one panel.  Find out more about the world of comic art and then tell you own visual story, including elements of Leprechaun lore and St. Patrick’s Day fun! You will delve into the world of comics, choose a story to tell, draw it out, frame it in four panels and add the words to your characters like the professionals do.  Use your comedic talent and art to create your characters and words, resulting in your own comic strip and earn your Cadette Comic Artist Badge.

This program will be held live online on March 14th, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm EST (1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Central, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm Mountain, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm Pacific). Cadettes will receive their Comic Artist Badge in the mail 2-3 weeks after attending the meeting. 

Supplies needed (not included): colored pencils, markers, paper, ruler, sticky notes, and tape (masking is best but any will do).

Adult supervision is required. All adults attending must comply with all standards based on GSGWM's policies and procedures. Adults do not need to register to supervise girls.

Cadette New Cuisines Badge Event - Spring Holiday Edition

For Girl Scout Cadettes (Grades 6-8) Interested in learning recipes that celebrate spring and springtime holidays? You will learn to make food and entertain in a way that is perfect for this season!

This 2 hour live virtual program takes place on March 21st from 2:00-4:00 pm EST (1:00-3:00 pm Central, 12:00-2:00pm Mountain, 11:00am-1:00pm Pacific). Girls will receive their badge in the mail 2-3 weeks after attending the program.

Materials needed: 1 package frozen puff pastry sheets, butter (you will need about 1lb total), 1 ½ tbsp cinnamon, 2 tbsp sugar, white frosting, large Ziploc bad or piping bag, 2-3 cooking sheets, 1 baking dish, tinfoil, mixing bowls, mixing spoons, measuring cups and spoons, 2-3 large russet potatoes (peel these potatoes before the program to save time), salt, pepper, access to an oven, water, 2-3 cups flour, minced garlic, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, ¼ cup white onion chopped, milk (whole is best but any will do), 2-3 local and in season veggies to create a side dish with, purple, green, and yellow sprinkles, small plastic baby or a dried bean,1 tsp lemon juice, 2 packages of crescent dough, 1 packages of cream cheese, 1 cup chopped pecans, 1 tsp vanilla extract, ½ cup brown sugar, 2 cups powdered sugar, a family recipe (possibly for Easter, spring, Passover, etc.) to share, pencil, paper, and things to set and decorate a table (whatever you already have).

Child and Babysitting Safety Course

For Girl Scout Cadettes (Grades 6-8) Join Coastal CPR and First Aid in The Child and Babysitting Safety course which covers child safety and basic care techniques for children. Class teaches basic safety, fun activities to entertain children of various age groups, diapering procedures, providing emergency care, basic first aid and much more! The remote option of this course allows girls to participate with the video and presentation information at home. Some practical skills exercises are also completed ahead of time at home. We then meet in 1 2-hour remote session on Sunday, March 21st to participate in group exercises and practice important skills. Class includes a certification card to show parents that you are a certified babysitter. Course textbook & first aid supplies mailed out to girls before start of course. This course covers most of the requirements for the Cadette Babysitting Badge.

Supplies girls will need at home (not included):
• Doll (infant handling practice and diapering)
• Diaper or folded bandana

Optional: Create a babysitters bag from directions on handout that will be in their packet.
