Virtual programs are a great way to connect with your Girl Scout sisters and earn badges and Journeys while at home. Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains encourages you to stay safe and healthy while continuing your Girl Scout experience from home! Girls and parents should make sure to review the the Virtual Troop Meetings Safety Activity Checkpoint

In-Person Activities

We are excited to again start offering some in-person activities starting in August 2020. These activities will be held outside with social distancing processes in place.  Please see our calendar to view all of our in-person events and more!

Virtual Programs

Sign up for a virtual program which provides weekly activities focused on badges or Journeys through a facilitated blog.

Programs for Multi Age Levels

   Community Service Club

For Girl Scout Daisies through Ambassadors. Practice the Girl Scout slogan “Do a good turn daily” by participating in our community service club! Special Girl Scout and local community volunteer opportunities will be emailed to you throughout the year and discussed during our monthly Zoom meetings, giving you the opportunity to earn one or more service awards. This year we will have a year of animal focused community service, helping our furry friends out all over New Hampshire and Vermont!

Girls will participate in a Google Classroom on their own schedule. Computer or mobile device with internet access needed. Runs October 1, 2020 - September 30, 2021.

For Girl Scout Daisies through Ambassadors (Grades K-12). Meets three times virtually: 1/6, 2/3, and 3/3. Zoom link and recipe cards, and activities sent the week before each program via email. 

Ever wondered about outdoor cooking methods like dutch ovens or camp stoves? Join us virtually as we cook live in the outdoors using; pie irons, Dutch ovens, camp stoves and foil packs. During these three virtual sessions you can join us as we cook up a few new recipes using a new method of cooking. You'll get the recipes we make, and you will be able to share your very own recipe creations. 

You'll be making your own cookbook and you'll be ready to be an outdoor chef when you cook outdoors with your family, your troop and even at summer camp. January 06, February 6, and March 6, 2021 from 03:15 PM-04:15 PM .

A Trip to Mars - A Murder Mystery

For Girl Scout Brownies and Juniors. Do you like to solve mysteries?  If you already love mystery themed novels and detective shows, then this class will give you the chance to test your critical thinking skills in hypothetical situations both based in fantasy and reality. You will learn how to excel in puzzles and riddles and will find yourself using lateral thinking to be more creative in your guesses. The puzzles and riddles will involve colors, wordplay, shapes and math. You will work together with other Girl Scouts to solve the mystery of A Trip to Mars - A Murder Mystery where rumor has it that there has been some foul play on the planet Mars! After a secret mission went awry, an astronaut has gone missing. The final transmission was concerning and we were hired to investigate. Can you help solve the mystery and find a way home? January 30, 6:00 - 6:45 p.m.

For Girl Scout Cadettes. Do you sometimes feel that you need the tools to strengthen friendships, resist peer pressure and resolve conflicts? The aMaze Journey focuses on relationships/friendships with the people around you. Child and Babysitting Safety Course

For Girl Scout Cadettes. Join Coastal CPR and First Aid in The Child and Babysitting Safety course which covers child safety and basic care techniques for children. Class teaches basic safety, fun activities to entertain children of various age groups, diapering procedures, providing emergency care, basic first aid and much more!  Janurary 31, 2021, 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
