Gift will provide more opportunities for Girl Scouts
BEDFORD, NH – Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains received a gift of $2,500 from Bank of New Hampshire which will be used to provide financial assistance for at-risk and low-income New Hampshire girls, as well as help the growth of the Girl Scouts’ New Hampshire Outreach Troop program.
The council, which serves Girl Scouts across New Hampshire and Vermont, is committed to removing financial barriers to ensure its Girl Scout Leadership Experience programming is available to all girls. With the partnership and support of Bank of New Hampshire, the council is able to reach more girls and elevate their opportunities for success.
As one of the oldest and largest banks in New Hampshire, Bank of New Hampshire is dedicated to investing in the communities in which they serve. Kelli Brown, director of fund development and Heather McQuade, donor relations specialist with the Girl Scout council, met with Megan Ryder, commercial banking officer and Bambi Lane, assistant vice president from the bank.
“Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains is honored to be one of the 400 recipients annually for local funding through the Bank of New Hampshire,” said Brown.

We Are Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Through programs from coast to coast, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges—whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them.
