The Expo is a day of family fun and excitement Oct. 5
Girl Scouts will host event at the NH Sportsplex in Bedford
BEDFORD, NH – Every member of the family and all their friends are invited to The Expo – a full day of fun, discovery, play, and entertainment! Kids of all ages will enjoy the wide variety of activities while parents can connect with businesses that serve families, find new extracurricular opportunities, and investigate their next staycation.
Explore the outdoors, STEM, the arts, healthy living, and life skills through interactive activities. Drive a robot, see a planetarium show, shoot an arrow, try a musical instrument, paint a picture, play gaga ball, learn a karate move, and explore everything exciting for kids – it’s all happening at The Expo!
Spend all or part of the day at The Expo at the NH Sportsplex in Bedford on Saturday, October 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Expo is open to the public and includes performances, hands-on exhibits, giveaways, and more. With more than 100 activities and exhibitors, you’ll want to get there early and stay all day. The majority of activities are included in the $10 ticket price and there is free parking. Food trucks will be on site for lunch.
This year’s Expo features an amazing magic show, a performance by SubZero Nitrogen Ice Cream on the science of ice cream, a talent showcase from the Miss New Hampshire program, a chance to visit with storybook character with the Party Palace, Xploration STEM Enrichment, with more performances to be added as they are confirmed.
At the STEM Zone, you’ll find robotics demonstrations, the UNH STEM-MoBILE, the U.S. Space Force, water conservation demos, an inflated life-size whale you can actually enter inside of, and more with New Hampshire Fish & Game, New Hampshire Wildlife Education, ARMI/Biofab USA, and more.
Girl Scouting will be well represented, too, as Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains is hosting the event. We Are Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Through programs from coast to coast, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges—whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them. To join us, volunteer, reconnect, or donate, visit girlscouts.org.
Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains serves girls throughout New Hampshire and Vermont through volunteer-run troops, events, and virtual programs. Visit www.girlscoutsgwm.org to learn more.
