Date: Sun May 17, 9:00 AM EDT - Sun May 17, 2:30 PM EDT
We could use your help at Camp Seawood for a day of camp and
property prep. Troops, groups, and families are invited to join in to
help with cleaning, inventory, painting, and property maintenance
projects to help prepare camp for the spring, summer, and fall.
Volunteers grade 4 and older are preferred due to the nature of
camp projects and weekend tasks, but we welcome anyone that is willing
to help.
Participants can earn volunteer or service hours
for any time they are helping at camp including hours that work
towards the Service to Girl Scouting Bars or their school service
hours.
Facilitated by GSGWM team member(s). Designed for
families, troops, outside rental groups that have used our properties
before, or individuals with an adult chaperone.
Snack and water
will be provided. Groups should bring their own picnic lunch. This
program does not have a participant minimum to run.
How
to register:
Girl Participant is a Girl Scout or girls grades
K-12.
An Adult Participant is any adult regardless of
membership status (should be age 18+).
A Family Guest
Participant includes all other family member minors (ages 6-17) that
do not fall into the other two registration categories.
Adult chaperones should also register for this event to meet the
Safety Activity Checkpoints youth to adult ratios. All adults
attending must comply with all GSGWM's policies and procedures.
A detailed confirmation will be sent by e-mail within one week
before the program date, including in-person program details.
Registrations that can be accommodated after the registration close
date will be processed for no additional cost. Questions? Please
