Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors are invited to join Granite State Credit Union for an interactive and engaging workshop focused on realworld financial skills. During the Dream Budget Workshop, Girl Scouts will choose a dream job, explore reallife expenses, and learn how to give back to their community, building confidence and practical knowledge for their financial future.
Participants will engage in handson activities that connect money management to reallife decisionmaking. This facilitatorled experience takes place at a Granite State Credit Union branch and is designed to support older Girl Scouts as they explore financial independence, decisionmaking, and goal setting in a welcoming environment. This workshop prepares Girl Scouts to earn the My Dream Budget (Cadette), My Financial Power (Senior), or My Financial Independence (Ambassador) badge.
Facilitated by our program partner, Granite State Credit Union. Designed for troops or individuals with an adult chaperone. Badge voucher will be provided. Granite State Credit Union has graciously purchased badge vouchers for each participant, which may be redeemed at the Mountain Top Shop for the appropriate badge. All supplies and materials are provided. Food is not provided. This program requires a minimum of 10 youth participants and has a maximum of 25 youth participants to run.
How to Register:
- Girl Participant is a Girl Scout in grades 6-12 (Cadette, Senior, or Ambassador).
- Adult Participant is any adult, regardless of membership status (must be age 18+).
Adult chaperones should also register for this event to meet Safety Activity Checkpoints youthtoadult ratios. All adults attending must comply with all GSGWM policies and procedures.
You will receive a detailed confirmation, including arrival details, by email within one week before the program date.
Registrations that can be accommodated after the registration close date will be subject to a $5 late fee per person.
