Girl Scouts of all ages invite your family and neighbors to unwind,
explore the outdoors, and tap into your creative side together.
Families will rotate through art and outdoor focused activity stations
between cooking your own meals. Get ready for tie dye, nature art,
hiking and a scavenger hunt, boating and swimming (at Camp Kettleford
only), target sports, and more!
Please register each attending family member with the appropriate category:
Girl Participant is a Girl Scout or girls grades K-12.
An Adult Participant is any adult regardless of membership status (should be age 18+).
A Family Guest Participant includes all other family member minors (ages 4-17) that do not fall into the other two registration categories. (4 years and under are free and do not require registration)
Facilitated by GSGWM team member(s). Designed for families or individuals with an adult chaperone. Lodging will be in Adirondacks (5-12 people sleeping on the floor, no mattresses provided) or you can bring your own tents. Each family will be assigned an Adirondack based on group size. Snack provided. Troops and families are responsible for their own meals and additional snacks to either eat picnic style or cook over a campfire. This program requires at least 12 participants to run.
Adults should also register for this event to meet Safety Activity Checkpoints youth to adult ratios. All adults attending must comply with all GSGWM's policies and procedures. It is preferred that at least one adult must have Outdoor Adventure Workshop (OAW) training (available online, no fee) and Basic Outdoor Living Skills Trainings.
You will receive a detailed confirmation including arrival details and a packing list by e-mail within two weeks before the program date. Families have the option to check-in Friday night from 6-7:30 p.m. EDT for a full weekend at camp or arrive and check-in on Saturday morning from 8-9 a.m. EDT with programming beginning on Saturday at 9 a.m. EDT.
Registrations that can be accommodated after the registration close date will be subject to a $10 late fee per transaction.
