Camp with your family at Camp Farnsworth! Enjoy trying all of the activities camp has to offer including swimming, boating, target spots, low ropes, art projects, hiking, and a lot of fun. You and your family will get to choose what you want to do and enjoy provided meals and snacks from Saturday breakfast to Sunday Breakfast.
Facilitated by GSGWM team member(s). Designed families or individuals with an adult chaperone. Fun patch provided. Each family will be assigned separate lodging and will be asked to share their lodging preferences in response to the confirmation e-mail, lodging accommodations will be determined based on registration date and group size. Lodging options range from small cabins that sleep 5-12, Adirondacks that sleep 5, or platform tents that sleep 4. All sleeping accommodations have cots or bunk beds with mattresses, do not have electricity, and are just a short walk from the bathroom and showers. Families may also choose to bring their own pop up tents. Saturday meals, a snack, & Sunday breakfast provided. This program requires at least 12 participants to run.
Adults should also register for this event to meet Safety Activity Checkpoints youth to adult ratios. All adults attending must comply with all GSGWM's policies and procedures. It is preferred that at least one adult must have Outdoor Adventure Workshop (OAW) training (available online, no fee) and Basic Outdoor Living Skills Trainings.
You will receive a detailed confirmation including arrival details and a packing list by e-mail within two weeks before the program date. Check-in is between 6-7 p.m. EDT with programming beginning at 7 p.m. EDT.
Registrations that can be accommodated after the registration close date will be subject to a $10 late fee per transaction.
