Troop Spotlight: February 2026
Girl Scouts around our council are always active – camping, traveling, doing service projects, and making the world a better place. Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains invites all Girl Scouts in our council to share photos of their adventures, achievements, projects, and more. Send your photos to us at customercare@girlscoutsgwm.org. Be sure to include a description of the event, your troop number and levels involved, when it took place, and any other relevant information.
Scarves in the Park

Manchester, NH, Girl Scout Troops Daisy 10920, Brownie 10405, Junior 12263, and CSA 10720 met at Veterans Park and distributed all of the items that they collected and some that were made by the girls and others that were knitted or crocheted by loved ones. This is an annual event and they hope that it brought many people great warmth. Marlowe, at left, is a second-year Daisy holding the scarves that she and her grandmother made.
Song and dance troop

Junior Troop 63135 of Chester, NH, welcomed parent Lauren, a musician and music teacher, who volunteered to help the girls earn the Musician badge. They wrote their own song for part 4 of the badge and performed it for part 5 at their bridging and rededication ceremony, with family in attendance.
Leader Pat said “It was really amazing to watch Lauren working with the girls and guiding them through the steps of writing a song. They loved every part of the badge. Each girl selected one instrument to include in the music and contributed to both the lyrics and choreography. They were all very engaged with the process and couldn't wait to perform it for their families. They got a little tangled up near the end, but that's what happens in a live performance.”
