Senior GIRLtopia Summer Journey Series - Online

Senior Girl Scouts develop your vision for an ideal world for girls and women and acquire the skills to make it a reality. Explore the issues facing girls, learn how you can help, and take action to get a little bit closer to a GIRLtopia. Create an ideal community where girls’ values, needs, and interests are respected and celebrated always. This program consists of 5 weeks of blogsite programming and one optional live session: August 10, 7:00 pm EDT to brainstorm Take Action Project ideas.  Supplies list will be provided each week. Visionary award may be purchased online or through your local council. 

Ambassador Your Voice, Your World Summer Journey Series - Online

Date: Wed Jul 20, 5:00 PM - Wed Aug 31, 5:00 PM EDT

Ambassador Girl Scouts find out how to advocate for change by networking, planning, and speaking up for what you believe. "Communication takes the stage in Your Voice, Your World: The Power of Advocacy. Girls spot problems, find solutions, and take action. Whether they're making presentations, using social media, or lobbying government, Ambassadors raise their collective voices to make positive change." - GSUSA This program consists of 5 weeks of blogsite programming and one optional live session:  August 11, 7:00 pm EDT to brainstorm Take Action Project ideas.  Supplies list will be provided each week. Ambassador Think Like a Citizen Scientist Journey - Online

Date: Tue Dec 13, 5:00 PM - Tue Jan 24, 5:00 PM EST

Ambassadors become Citizen Scientists as you conduct scientific research to find answers to questions and solve problems in the natural world. You will take part in a multiple citizen science projects to explore the scientific method and the importance of making observations, iteration, and collecting data over time. This program is online and consists of 5 weeks of content via our virtual program blog site and a live online interaction January 12, 6:00 -7:00 p.m. EST. Journey award may be purchased online or through your local council. Supplies list to be provided each week.

Senior Think Like a Citizen Scientist Journey - Online

Date: Tue Dec 13, 5:00 PM - Tue Jan 24, 5:00 PM EST

Seniors become Citizen Scientists as you make observations, form scientific questions and hypotheses and create a plan to test your findings.  Learn about your environment. Take part in a Citizen Science Project and help Scientists advance their research! Earn your Senior Think Like a Citizen Scientist Journey and Take Action awards with this program. This program is online and consists of five weeks of content via our virtual program blog site and a live online interaction January 12, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. EST. Journey awards may be purchased online or through your local council. Supplies list to be provided each week.

Winter Camping Adventure - Online and Thetford, VT

Date: Thu Dec 15, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM EST

Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors - Spend the night winter camping! We'll meet virtually six times ahead of this overnight to plan equipment, meals, and practice other skills. Girls will learn new winter camping skills and speak to experts in the field as they prepare for a winter overnight adventure at Camp Farnsworth in February. Campout weekend is 2/25/23-2/26/23 at Camp Farnsworth, in Thetford, VT.

How To Catch a Leprechaun - Online

Date: Thu Mar 09, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM EST

Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts can you catch the leprechaun? Use your "trash" to make a trap of treasures to catch a leprechaun. Girls must have a family adult or troop leader to supervise them during the event.

Girl Scout Week: Campfire Sing a Long - Online

Date: Mon Mar 13, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM EDT

Girl Scouts, join in Girl Scout Week with a campfire singalong with all your Girl Scout friends! We'll join together online, share some virtual S.W.A.P.S, and sing some Girl Scout songs together. Song lyrics and S.W.A.P.S ideas will be sent to you via email.

Only one registration per household required if you are sharing a link and singing in a group.

Girl Scout Week Celebration - Online

Let's Celebrate Girl Scout Week 2023 with your Girl Scout Sisters virtually. Prepare and bake a special dessert, play some games and learn about the history of the Girl Scouts and its founder, Juliette Gordon Low. Invite a friend! Non-Members welcome. Climbing Adventure - Online and Thetford, VT

Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors, climb to new heights on artificial and natural rock walls! We'll meet virtually 6 times ahead of this overnight to plan equipment, meals, and practice our skills. Girls will hear from experts, try out gear, and participate in climbing activities. Campout weekend is 6/10-6/11/23 at Camp Farnsworth, in Thetford, VT.
