Girl Scouts of Troop 58235 in Laconia, NH, spent a day snowshoeing on a trail and made snow hearts along the way. They also worked on earning their Trail Adventure badge.
Discovering the Wonders of Water
Girl Scouts in Troop 58428 in Laconia, NH, took on the Wonders of Water Journey. They used water testing kits to “non-destructively” test the turbidity, dissolved oxygen, and pH of their school’s drinking water.
Miss New Hampshire USA visits Girl Scouts
Alyssa Fernandes, Miss New Hampshire USA, visited the Daisies and Brownies who meet at Hallsville School in Manchester, NH, this week. She is a full-time nutritionist and taught the girls the elements of a healthy meal, drawing a balanced plate with their choice of favorite foods.
