Junior through Ambassador Girl Scouts, this weekend is all about water adventures. You'll splish and you'll splash your way through the weekend. Spend time swimming in the pool and lake, try new boating activities like canoeing or paddleboarding, and enjoy splashtastic relay boat races. We'll eat lunch on the water and have plenty of time for water art and water games - think water balloon fight and water squirters. Come ready to use your swim towel and get your feet wet!
Facilitated by GSGWM team member(s). Designed for troops, individual youth participants with an adult chaperone, or individual youth participants on their own. Individual participants on their own will be supervised by GSGWM team members. Fun patch provided. Saturday meals, a snack, and Sunday breakfast provided. This program requires at least 12 youth participants to run.
Lodging will be in platform tents (4 people per tent) or Adirondacks (5-12 people per unit) or cabins (capacity varies). Sleeping accommodations include cots or bunk beds with mattresses, do not have electricity, and are just a short walk from shared bathroom and showers. Participants will be asked to share their lodging preferences in response to the confirmation e-mail, lodging accommodations will be determined based on registration date and group size. Participants and troops may share lodging based on the number of participants.
Adult chaperones should also register for this event to meet Safety Activity Checkpoints youth to adult ratios. All adults attending must comply with all GSGWM's policies and procedures. At least one adult must have Outdoor Adventure Workshop (OAW) training (available online, no fee).
You will receive a detailed confirmation including arrival details and a packing list by e-mail within two weeks before the program date. Check-in time is between 6-7 p.m. ET with programming beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
Registrations that can be accommodated after the registration close date will be subject to a $10 late fee per person.
